Use Google Maps to move

Some museums in New York allow you to “pay what you can.” Although they have a suggested price, these places receive many donations and can be maintained without your fee. If you have a budget assigned for these visits, use it, but if not the cashier will ask you how much you want to pay and you can give what you have (one dollar, two, five). The modality “pay what you can”give you general access, in some museums you will have to pay a fixed amount for entering special exhibitions. You can only use this modality at the box office, if you buy tickets in advance on the internet you will have to pay the suggested price.
Broadway At Half Price
You can buy theater tickets with up to 50% off if you buy them on the same day as the show at one of the TKTS discount ticket offices. There is one in Brooklyn and one in South Street Seaport, but the most accessible one is Times Square. On 47th Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue, you will find some red stairs. When going down, you will run into this magical ticket office. Do not buy tickets on the street because there is also piracy and take into account that you can touch a long line so go ahead. Take The Ferry To Staten Island
Instead of paying for a boat to take you to the Statue of Liberty, take the ferry to Staten Island, which is free. It has continuous exits, it gives you a beautiful view of the city, and you can make a close-up photo of the statue without paying. Avoid peak hours because many people use this transport to go to work or school.
